Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our colleagues, configure and maintain the company hardware assets. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. Keep track of the relevant documentation. Work with the main company systems.

If you enjoy supporting end users and local infrastructure,  we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.

Job Requirements

Main responsibilities: 

Build, install and maintain PCs\laptops, VoIP phone systems, meeting room equipment and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards

Address user tickets regarding hardware, software

Provides support and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents

Do regular checks and prophylactics over the company hardware and software

Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications and OS

Identify potential changes and system improvements, discuss them with team members

Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines

Prepare the needed equipment and respective documentation for new employees and leaving employees

Maintain and track the company asset inventory and all relevant documents, warranty cards and protocols

Proactively search for improvements to the company IT infrastructure

Job requirements : 

Work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role

Good knowledge over Windows and Linux environments

Good understanding for hardware and software

Good communication skills

Team player with positive attitude
